Caryn, As a firm believer in capital punishment, I think many murderers get off too easy & we, the taxpayers & some their victims, end up supporting them. I believe that murderers should be put to death in the same manner that they killed their victims – be it drowning, shooting, stabbing, etc. – so that they themselves might experience the brutality of their own actions. It should be the court’s decision whether or not to sentence them to death, but if they do receive the ultimate punishment, then I agree with you wholeheartedly. Maybe with the taking of one life, several others can live.
