Envisioning The Day

Posted by Caryn on Feb 8, 2010 in Caryn's writing |

Have you ever noticed that whatever happens during the first hour of your day will normally set the tone for the remainder of your day?

Try stubbing your toe as you step out of bed and if you don’t make the conscious decision to shake it off, you may find yourself cussing and hopping around for awhile.

Taking a moment to imagine your day before you get out of bed is a simple way to maintain a positive focus, gain clarity and set short terms goals for the day.

The alarm clock sounds, you reach over to turn it off.

Flip on a dim light and focus on something in the room that provides you with images of your goals.

Perhaps a copy of your vision board.  I have a copy of mine tacked to the ceiling, the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning.

Imagine moving forward into your perfect day.

Envision the kids getting up and off to school without issue.  The smell of coffee brewing fills your senses.

Receiving calls and emails from new and prospective clients.

Notifications for sales of your products and services coming to you.

Imagine yourself feeling energized with clarity.

Attracting like-minded, positive people who share your vision.

The mailbox is flooded with new orders and checks.

The sun is shining, the air is fresh and the day is beautiful.

All the tasks you have set forth to accomplish today will be completed by days end.

You’ll find yourself surrounded by loving and supportive family members, sharing quality time during the evening.

As the day comes to a close, you are thankful for all that you have been blessed to provide and to receive and you look forward to another day full of enjoyment tomorrow.

It is all about the focus that comes from within.  Focus on the positive, seek pleasure in serving others and your life will always be blessed.

You painted the perfect picture…I visualized it all as I was reading. I have a very encouraging note from my daughter tacked to my vision board. It’s right next to my bathroom mirror so I can’t help but look at it several times a day. It does wonders for keeping me focused and positive. :)

Thanks for sharing,

Donna J
