Meditate and Transform with Sheevaun Moran

July 27th, 2009

s-moran2Welcome to the next interview in the  “Living the Life of My Dreams” series. This series is designed to introduce you to some absolutely amazing individuals who, like myself, have stepped outside of the box, ignored those who said it couldn’t be done and today are living the life of their dreams. Each of us has only one life to live and sometimes we just need that gentle reminder that YOUR life is what YOU make of it…

My wish for each of you is that by reading these interviews, meeting these individuals and hearing their stories, you too will be inspired to move forward into living the life of YOUR dreams!

So sit back and relax as we connect with Sheevaun Moran.

Living the life of one’s dreams is something many people believe to be a myth….yet; you are living proof that one can achieve this goal…Tell us about the path you traveled to arrive where you are today and what kept you moving forward on the days things were not going exactly the way you were hoping they would?
In the beginning after my world collapsed because my husband died when I was 30 I was grateful just to take one more breath. Then after a few weeks I used the mantra “it’s okay” and that got me through for a long time. Now, when things aren’t going right i know that breath is the first thing to begin with and from there it’s about using love and peace and recalling that there is divine order in the chaos and that the situation ALWAYS resolves itself in my best interest.

What piece of advice would you give to someone who has decided they would like to live in a world of their own creation?
The first thing you want to do is begin listening to yourself. Listen to what you say to others and spend time listening to how others speak around you. Pay attention to the things that you like and don’t like about what they say, then decide to speak differently. After this I recommend that some time be taken as the observer of life. Be quiet when you used to speak up and watch others – how they act, what they  say, what you want to say, what you used to say. From there decide how you wish to be within any given circumstance.

What special things do you do for yourself daily to maintain your momentum and energy levels?
I rise every day around 5-5:30am and spend a few minutes tending to the body, stretching, walking, breathing exercises, etc., then I either write or sort through the mail or emails from the previous day. I do this for 1-2 hours and then shower and meditate for an hour each day. After this then my day is ready to ignite.

What I put in my body is fresh and made daily without preservatives or additives and this helps the energy level remain high and the thoughts clear, as well. Drinking alkaline water is best for the ultimate functioning of high energy levels and I do that as well.

If you could spend 3 days on a deserted island with two people of your choosing, who would they be and why?
This is always an interesting question to answer. I don’t know that I have two but a non-human is the one I would really like to sit and spend a day with but for the physical world, I think it would be Nelson Mandela and Queen Victoria.

What is your favorite audio material and what do you enjoy most about this material?
I don’t really listen to audio material. I like the theater of the mind from reading and writing.

What is your favorite reading material and what gives it that special place in your heart?
I love to read the works from old texts. Authors from the 1800’s and1900’s are some of my favorites because they contain a language that we’ve forgotten. There is a greater respect for words and a more careful approach to the topic – these books are more descriptive, thoughtful and spiritual. I love to read about other cultures that are no longer present and be a detective to find the treasure in what they did and shared.

Who has inspired you and what is it about them that you found inspirational?
Many people inspired me but I would say that what truly inspired me to move forward and succeed was when I saw someone doing or saying something that sounded in-authentic. That inspired me to be authentic and try anything that I could reach for.

Every day I am inspired by a word, a thought, an image or an interaction I have with another. They inspire me to share a deeper meaning behind each action and encounter.

What do you see in your future?
I am a conduit for the world to have a greater understanding of the unseen energetic world in a language that is practical and approachable.

Through the articles and books I write I share this wisdom. Through the CD’s and DVD’s of the workshops and natural healthcare solutions I will continue to attract thousands to help them transform to their other shore of success, no matter what that success may be – from the most simplistic wish to the most complicated matter.

It’s about a shift in consciousness about how we treat each other as a way of life and being able to share the wisdom I have gained with people worldwide is truly my future.

Where is your favorite place in the world to spend time, what is special to you about this location?
Skiing in the Colorado Rockies is the best place. You get to be wrapped up and clunk around in bulky boots, use muscles in ways you don’t get to during the rest of the year and be in the trees with them whizzing by on any given run. It challenges the psyche to be better each and every time and to be connected and grounded and yet meditative all at once.

Who has been your greatest support system and how have they shown you their support?
My dad and my assistant are the two most supportive people. No matter what they’ve been there. When my mother was living she was supportive in her own way through prayer. The biggest supporter is the higher source and that supports me in whatever comes my way. Without this support I would be alone, without inspiration and possibly lost.

What / who are you most thankful for and why?
I’m grateful for each day, no matter what it brings or what confusion arises. I’m the type of person who is grateful just to be able to breath. The ability to share what wisdom I’ve gained with the right people.

What is your favorite way to contribute or give back?
I give back in as many ways as I can imagine. If I see someone who is in distress I send them an invisible hug, I share via a radio program each week and offer sessions to people who are not in a position to hire me for their transformation. I am part of a shelter and hunger feeding project that has fed many thousands over the past years. Each week we host an open event to give back to the community the alternative health modality to those who cannot afford it and have been doing this for 14 years. For the past 10 years we have given away a download of meditation for peace CD download and there have been over 50,000 downloads to date. There are many many ways to contribute and give back and these are only a few of what has been shared.

Please share the top three things you feel people would benefit from doing if they truly desire to create the life of their dreams?
The top three things people need to do is:

-Learn to go inward and be honest with ones self

-Take time each day to allow space into your life – meditation is great, breathwork is great, yoga or just basic stretching is great

-Smile more at themselves and others and self esteem will rise each and every time which will take the small mindedness out of the picture.

What products and services do you offer to assist others on their journey?
I offer over 15 natural health and guided meditation CD’s that are easy to use because they are only 15 minutes long and yet powerful enough to accomplish miraculous results.

I offer workshops on how to get to success in health, healing, wellness, abundance, peace, success etc. It’s all about the energy and I teach people to truly understand the energy from their standpoint.

Each week I am producer and host to a radio program called “Master Your Energy Master Your Life”

I have written 4 books that share stories and techniques for having health and wealth naturally.

I offer a weekly program for the community to receive the work we with that is only by donation. This is offered for anyone who thinks they want to try the work.
