“Confident”

I can hardly believe it’s Friday already, halfway thru the month of February and the weekend of the Winter Classic Ice Skating competition in which my 8 year old daughter is competiting in three events.  Time has flown by quickly as it seems like just yesterday when she asked me if she could register for the event…that “yesterday” was 3 months ago.  In those three months she has practiced daily either on or off ice to hone her skills and to take herself and her skating to the level she desires.  I have been blessed in that I watch her grow each and every day, becoming more and more excited with the new skills she masters and friends she is making along the way.  When she awoke this morning and came down to breakfast I asked “how are you feeling?”  her one-word reply as she put her breakfast onto the table… “confident”  Read more...
