Billee Sharp knows how to live well on a budget, and has put this knowledge into a book called, “Fix It, Make It, Grow It, Bake It.”
Here are some of her ideas for a New Years Eve celebration on a budget:
-Potluck instead of shouldering the food cost alone. To make it more festive have a theme such as Thanksgiving, Classic American, Food from Literature, or ask people to bring a traditional dish from their culture.
-Have someone act as a DJ (this is usually not hard, often several people want this job) and clear a dance floor.
