Leaving the internet world!

June 2nd, 2010

This is it…today is the day!

In March of 2009, I opted to remove myself from the online world for 34 days and reset my mind, body and soul.  I learned several lessons during this initial process including:

1. The internet is highly overrated when it comes to social interaction, being with people in person is much more exciting and energizing.

2. Many people use technology (ie: chat, texting, email) as a means to escape real human interaction and contact.  Deep, meaningful relationships cannot be developed on the internet.  Yes, people can meet and greet, but the requirement for human contact is a great one and should be encouraged and nutured.

Guest Blog: Questioning My Faith

February 12th, 2010

Admit something:

Everyone you see, you say to them, “Love me.”

Of course you do not do this out loud, or someone would call the cops.

Still, though, think about this, the great pull in us to connect.

Why not become the one who lives with a full moon in each eye

that is always saying,

with that sweet moon language,

what every other eye in this world is dying to hear?

Thanksgiving Blessings

November 26th, 2009

Today is just one of the 365 days of the year to be thankful for the blessings in life. Take a moment to reach out to those around you who may or may not be aware of how grateful you are to have them in your lives. I am personally thankful for so many people who have blessed my life:

My parents: who gave me life.

My husband: who has stood by me during all of the ups and downs that have allowed me to create the beautiful life I live today.

He turned devastation into a beautiful life

Living well and beautifully….are all one thing

October 23rd, 2009

sdiamondAs I continue on my journey of sharing the stories of those who have created the life of their dreams I am reminded of a quote by Socrates, ” “Living well and beautifully and justly are all one thing.” Life is beautiful and it is up to each of us to enhance that beauty day by day….  Today I am speaking with Susan Diamond, an amazing woman who is living both well and beautifully!  Welcome Susan!
