Girl Scout "Thanks-A-Lot" Cookies
It’s Girl Scout cookie season again and I have to admit those brightly colored boxes lining the tables outside of the stores look absolutely inviting. I know first hand that the cookies inside each of those boxes are as delicious as the description
on the outside promises. Each year more and more people are delving into the $4 a box cookies with helpless abandon and devouring an entire box in just one or two sittings and quite frankly, who can blame them as the cookies are simply put, yummy in the tummy! Read more...

I have to admit I am a Girl Scout cookie junkie! I LOVE Girl Scout cookies (especially those Thin Mints)…however, the catch is that I have a medical condition that prohibits me from eating cookies, so what’s a girl to do when approached by all those Girl Scout moms to help their child’s troop and support the Girl Scouts by buying boxes of yummy cookies? Now a normal person would say “just buy them and let your hubby and daughter consume all that delicious goodness.” But, I don’t think it’s fair to make my husband and daughter eat boxes of Girl Scout cookies (of course, they are both laughing as they LOVE cookies and can eat them!).
