Living Golf ~ A Passion for the Game

by Gil Anderson

Passion is a powerful force that motivates and effectively enables a connection with any desired accomplishment. As long as heartfelt passion endures, even the most difficult of endeavors can be conquered.

The game of golf has something within it that brings us to a higher ground of self-realization. It instills and supports a passionate desire to expand and overcome our inadequacies. As the spirit of the game unfolds, we are able to come closer to a depth of holistic consciousness that further reveals the it factor. We realize the connection through its infinite nature that resides within the eternal spirit flowing through all things.

Realize There is Truth in the Truisms

REALIZE THERE’S TRUTH IN THE TRUISMS.

In other words, have faith in the hackneyed expressions:

Follow your dreams………………..

My brother refused to follow a traditional path and wound up a successful entrepreneur.

Listen to your inner voice…………

Despite being told (by a patent attorney) that her idea had no merit, my mother sold that idea to a major American manufacturer.

Fortune rewards the bold…………..

My sister took a big chance on moving to Los Angeles without a waiting job.

She wound up a movie producer.

Don’t let the present dictate the future………………………….

Passions into Profits

by Cynthia Brian

Are you passionate about your business?  If not, why not?   People who know their purpose and are passionate about living are happier, more fun-loving, have less stress and are more excited about every opportunity.  Do you know how to turn your passions into profits?

Here are a few tips that will assist you in living your dream.

1. Dream the dream. Don’t worry if it seems crazy or impossible. What do you love to do in life?  If you knew you could not fail, what would you tackle and who would you be? Dream big.

Creating time for passion!

I was blessed this weekend to be able to spend two wonderful days with several hundred writers here at the DFW writers workshop conference.  For the writers out there reading this you’ll understand when I say there is no one else in the world that truly understands the mind of a writer than another writer.

We kicked off with a day full of workshops with writers and agents galore.  The selection could not have been more perfect (with the exception of adding Stephen King to the list, but that’s off topic and totally my personal opinion!).
