Welcome!
Welcome to my blog, Embracing My Journey – Living with Passion!
Embracing My Journey is a blog offering motivation & inspiration for living a life full of purpose and passion!
My name is Caryn Gottlieb FitzGerald and I have been sharing my love of the written word for over 30 years. I have experienced first hand being at the brink of death and returning to live a healthy and prosperous life, full of abundance and creativity. Today, I am an author and inspirational speaker sharing my story with the world, assisting others in creating prosperity from passion….
By the age of 30 I was a skeleton and by all rights I should have been dead. For almost a decade my world was filled with physical & emotionally abusive relationships and the devastation of anorexia and bulimia. Then came the turning point and I made the CHOICE to LIVE, not allowing the abuse or illness to consume my body, mind or soul.
I have learned that life is too short to waste time on the negative and my daily life is now focused on the positive and taking an active role in changing the world for the better, creating abundance through my passions; writing and sharing my story.
By sharing my passion and my story, I am sharing with others that a full, abundant life can be created regardless of ones past. I am living my dream, assisting others in achieving their goals and creating abundance through their passion….for if you love what you are doing, the money will follow.
Life is a blessing and I encourage you to take a moment and give thanks for the amazing gifts within your life and to live with passion!
In gratitude,
Caryn

Hi Caryn,
Your topic today is a timely one for me. I’ve been working hard lately on setting goals and making changes in my life. I was great to read your positive and inspiring post about just that topic. Thanks!
Hi Caryn, I just started following you on Twitter because of your post on LinkedIn. How interesting that your post on your Blog is about your eating disorder. I’ve been a member of Overeaters anonymous for over 20 years and recovering from compulsive eating. I am so glad I found you and look forward to getting to know you better and helping you grow your business in any way I can.
Thanks for the message

Hi Caryn,
Beautiful post. There is so much power in the “Choice to LIVE”. On January 1st I went to the grocery store and noticed the energy in the store. It was really off. I puzzled about it as I went about my shopping and as I was walking out, discussing the energy with my husband, it dawned on me that the store was full of ghosts – people who had not chosen not to be present, were anywhere but here and now, were in their heads wishing for another present moment. In short they had not chosen to live. Thanks for sharing your story!

Very interesting content corresponding with this good topic in the web.
Caryn, Thank you!
At 24 I woke up one morning realizing that I was pregnant, at least 3 months along, but the problem was every bone in my body could be seen. Because I was in an emotionally abusive relationship I had stopped eating or even noticing my body. Days later the pregnancy was confirmed by my miscarrying.
I never went to a counselor unfortunately but I was divorced within months. Slowly gaining weight but still finding less than ideal relationships. It took years for me to not stop eating with stress and to look for good men and walk away from abusers and users.
It’s hard to explain to people who haven’t been there, but for those who have… I try to write posts so they can walk away from it. MJ (http://twitter.com/loverockstar)
